There are a couple of options when adding trainees. The options are Individually or a bulk upload from an excel spreadsheet. If your company has a Yammer account, once enabled, users can be invited from Yammer. For more information about Yammer click here.
1. From the left hand side, select "Users".
2. On the right side of the page is a drop down menu under "Add Users".
3. Select either Individual or From Excel.
4a. If Individual is selected, enter the following required information: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. If trainees do not have email addresses, usernames can be used once enabled. There are optional fields such as adding new users to a group and/or inviting to a course or series. Once required information is entered, click the yellow "add" button.
4b. If "From Excel" is selected, a spread sheet with the following information is required to add new trainees: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address/Username. There is a sample spread sheet that can be downloaded if needed.
4b. From your spread sheet, Mindflash will take the "Excel Fields" and automatically add to "Mindflash Fields". These are First Name, Last Name, and Email Address/Username. If there are additional optional Excel fields, these can be clicked and dragged to the Mindflash Fields. Next, click continue.
4b. On the new page, confirm Trainee information is accurate. If trainees needs to be added to a group or be invited to a course/series, that can be accomplished here as well. Lastly, click "Add".
