What is SCORM?

Follow
SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. It is a way of packaging and presenting content on e-learning platforms.  Mindflash currently supports SCORM content from Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline. It is possible that other SCORM content will work with Mindflash, but there is no guarantee that all the functions and features of those presentations will work within Mindflash.

Captivate and Storyline have various output options, some of which are not SCORM compliant outputs, these will not work in Mindflash. All Captivate and Storyline projects must be SCORM enabled and published to a .zip file.

To ensure your settings are correct please read our help documentation on publishing Captivate and Storyline files.

Captivate and Storyline published .zip files can only be uploaded on the Premium and Enterprise tier. Captivate files do not have thumbnails and have a generic SCORM icon. Storyline files will have a thumbnail from the content itself. Both file types are represented by the brown jelly beans on the Arrange tab:
